Week 27: Homework

Hello Third Grade Parents!
This past week we had lots of fun learning. Here is quick recap our how are week went.
In language arts we continued our practice with close reading with poems. We focused on revising our answers and adding more content. We also worked on accountable talk.
In math we completed are working through more multiplication in GoMath Ch 5.


In social studies, we are continuing to look at the 13 colonies.  
Upcoming important dates:
3/1 - Ash Wednesday Mass @ 7:45 am at Mater Dei Parish
***Please make sure your students are at school early that day***
3/2 - Read Across America Day
Students may come to school dressed as their favorite book character and bring their favorite book. Please also let us know if you would like to be a classroom reader in the morning between 9:30-10:00.

Week 25: Homework

Hello Third Grade Parents!
This past week we had lots of fun learning. Here is quick recap of how our week went.
In language arts we focused on plural and irregular plural nouns and will have a short quiz next week. We also identified new text features tools to help us understand Expository texts.  
In math we completed the GoMath chapter 4 test and began the pretest and introduction to Chapter 5.


In social studies, we are continuing to look at the 13 colonies.  
Upcoming important dates:
2/14-2/16 - Scholastic Book Fair
2/14 - Valentine Cookie Party ( Please sign up on shutterfly to volunteer or donate)
2/15 - Awards Assembly
2/17 - Early dismissal @ 11:30
